Rules

RUNS WATER LAKE RULES

Please read our rules carefully. Devine Fisheries take the wellbeing and safety of both our customers, fish and wildlife very seriously. Having had reasonable opportunity to read the Fishery Rules, applicable to any angler and confirm, that on acceptance of your booking, your agreement to abide by such rules. Please make sure you have the experience and equipment to fish our waters. DAY SESSION RUNS FROM 8am to 8pm 7 days a week. 24hrs+ sessions start either 8am or 8pm.

  1. DIP YOUR NETS MATS SLINGS AND BAIT BOATS BEFORE YOUR RODS GO IN THE WATER. Dipping your equipment is required to ensure that our fish are not exposed to diseases such as KHV. Dip tanks are located next to the seating area on the runs water. No excuses. If you have fished a water that has had KHV please purchase new equipment before fishing our Lakes.

  2. Please do not book for friends. Each person must be responsible for their own booking and must comply with the rules. All bookings to be paid in advance – detailed refund policy is on the website.

  3. No peg hopping, all pegs chosen and booked in advance.

  4. Barbless hooks must be used at all times. No treble hooks. NB Micro barbed or crushed hooks are not classified as barbless hooks. No exceptions.

  5. Landing nets to be ready before fishing commences.

  6. Max 2 rods only at anytime.

  7. Rods must not be left unattended in any circumstances. Anyone with baited lines in the water and not in front of their rods will be asked to leave.

  8. No wire to be used.

  9. No lead core.

  10. No fixed leads. Leads must be able to break free with minimum of force, lead clips are acceptable.

  11. Fish to be held below knee level.

  12. Devine Fisheries has the right to close swims and lakes for spawning and fish welfare, bookings will be given the choice of amending or full refund.

  13. Keep all nets mats and slings in the shade with your bucket of cool water ready to douse the mat and fish.

  14. All fish to be returned to the water immediately after weighing. Please be quick with your photo – Maximum 3 minutes. At all times, please respect the health and wellbeing of the fish.

  15. Photographs submitted to the fishery become property of Devine Fisheries. We reserve the right to use the photographs for publicity.

  16. No retaining Carp at anytime – Match fishing to be authorised with the owners.

  17. Only weigh slings to be used for weighing fish.

  18. Carp care kit or similar must be in your tackle box whilst fishing.

  19. Fishing area as pegged.

  20. Bait boats can be used sensibly. Keep within your zone!

  21. Sparingly used shelf-life boilies. Do not over bait your swim. You will not catch.

  22. Loose feed ground bait, sweetcorn, hemp, pellets and maize (maize in moderation) allowed.

  23. Only small artificial bait to be used eg maggot, sweetcorn and maize.

  24. No baited hooks left unattended. We take the welfare of our wildlife seriously.

  25. No nuts.

  26. Customers and guests are allowed to bring max 1 dog per angler onto the Fishery premises and must be kept on your peg on a lead. All mess to be cleaned away and taken with you to be disposed of.

  27. No visitors to the lakes without agreement from the Office.

  28. Alcohol allowed in moderation. Please be sensible. Bailiffs are authorised to ask members to leave immediately if they are endangering their own or someone else’s safety or enjoyment being under the influence of drink or drugs.

  29. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes the use of illegal substances.

  30. Please treat other anglers with politeness if you are unsure of a swims water please ask.

  31. Low noise – please respect other anglers and neighbours at all times.

  32. Barbecues can be used. Please ensure they are lit off the ground and fully extinguished before leaving them unattended and dispose of them correctly before you leave the site.

  33. Litter - take it home! If we find rubbish left around your swim after you have left, you will lose your membership.

  34. Toilet and shower - Please respect other anglers and leave it as you would like to find it.

SAFETY Safety of our members is paramount. Please take the greatest care when driving in and out of the complex and park vehicles safely always allowing access to the farms. Remember we have DEEP WATER which is dangerous if care and common sense are not used. We are all responsible for our own safety. Swimming is not allowed. Take care on uneven ground and wet weather – wear appropriate footwear at all times Please use head torches during twilight and darkness. No head torch beams across the water. Liability Devine Fisheries shall not be liable to the Member nor visitors for any personal injury damage loss or inconvenience however or wherever caused to them or to any goods or chattels brought by them to the Fishery. Please be aware your details will be kept on our database. Your information will be stored securely. By becoming a member of you give us consent to storing your information during the length of your membership and for a reasonable duration after your membership has expired. CCTV is in operation 24 hours a day

We are happy for you to unload all equipment at the gates, then cars must be parked respectfully in the spaces at the front or back of the fishery.

 

MEMBERS SPECIMEN LAKE RULES

Please read our rules carefully. Devine Fisheries take the wellbeing and safety of both our members, fish and wildlife very seriously. Having had reasonable opportunity to read the Fishery Rules, applicable to any application for Membership and confirm, that on acceptance of your Membership, your agreement to abide by such rules. We have carp to over 30lbs and catfish topping 75lbs. Please make sure you have the experience and equipment to fish our waters. SESSION RUNS FROM 4pm to 4pm – Min 48hrs Weekend Friday 4pm to Sunday 4pm.

Dip tanks are located next to the seating area on the runs water. Members – none dipping of your mats, nets and slings on arrival is a ban. No excuses. If you have fished a water that has had KHV please purchase new equipment before fishing our Lakes.

  26. Loose feed ground bait, sweetcorn, hemp, pellets and maize (maize in moderation) allowed.

  27. Only small artificial bait to be used eg maggot, sweetcorn and maize.

  28. No baited hooks left unattended. We take the welfare of our wildlife seriously.

  30. ONLY SILVER FISH CAUGHT IN OUR RUNS WATER LAKE ARE TO BE USED FOR LIVE BAITING ON THE SPECIMEN LAKE.

Membership for juniors is at the discretion of the fishery, younger members maybe allowed.
